The General Motors Company or the GMC recently introduce the second generation of their compact crossover SUV, the new 2019 GMC Terrain. There won’t be many changes in this new version as the previous model which is 2018 GMC Terrain has brought many drastic changes such as the reduction 3 inches in length and its weight by 400 lbs. the GMC Terrain is a medium SUV offering high comfortable and safety.
2019 GMC Terrain Denali Exterior and Interior Redesign
2019 GMC Terrain visual are expected will be just the same as the current model. Indeed, there are minor changes like the addition of new colors, wheels and few other options. The new terrain also has less weight for about 350 pounds less which will improve fuel consumptions. For the exterior design, the new model does not get that much changes, the manufacturer only makes it sleeker and more gorgeous.
This is including the new design of the grille and the changes of C-shaped LED running light. The manufacturer also restyled the LED at the back which gave it much more bold appearance. It comes with two wheels options, the standard 17 inches wheels and the additional 18 inches as an alternative. There is also Terrain Denali that will be using 19-inch aluminum wheels.
The interior for this car has been slightly got smaller because there are some changes in the new platform. Consequently, taller passengers might have a slightly hard time since it has less headroom. Despite being slightly smaller, in general the cabin for the 2019 GMC Terrain is still the same. The seats are made with high quality and soft-touch leather.
The front and the back seats also have more leg room as the back seats can be fold. It is equipped with 7-inch touchscreen display that is integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has rearview camera, Bluetooth, USB ports, audio system, etc.
2019 GMC Terrain SLT Engine Specifications
Like the previous GMC Terrain, 2019 GMC Terrain will be using the same machine type. There are 3 engine choices to be chosen. The first option is 1.5-liter turbo-4 that can produce 170 HP and 203 lbs-ft of torque. The next choice is 2.0-liter turbo-4 which will be able to make 252 horse power and the torque of 260 pounds feet. The last alternative is 1.6-liter turbo-4. The last engine will have the output of 137 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. All three engines are equipped with 9-system automatic gearbox. Among the entire machine, the 1.6-liter engine will have the most efficiency fuel using.

GMC announce that this car will be available on sale in late 2018. While for the price, 2019 GMC Terrain will still have the same price as before which starts at around $25.000
